Age of Expectations x Obumbratio

The sculpture Age of Expectations addresses the eternal expectation of something better or more desired, be it social change, salary at the end of the month or the arrival of a loved one. With this piece the artist refers to the feeling that both binds and alienates us all, at the same time expecting an audience to sit among the figures and make the sculpture complete. In Obumbratio the artist explores the relationship between two sculptures, one seemingly completely motionless and the other which seems to want to move away from its place, to change its state. Both sculptures are a continuation of the piece Age of Expectations and together they tell a story about personal progress, breaking the mould and striving for change.
