Carousel

Carousel is an interactive spatial installation created through the encounter of two distinct artistic approaches – painting and design. The work consists of modular elements formed as a series of interconnected panels, with a rotating central section that allows the composition to change continuously. By turning the panel, visitors can open or close sightlines, determining for themselves which painted surfaces become visually connected. The surrounding location also becomes part of the composition, appearing through the openings and integrating into the work itself. The installation explores the relationship between movement, perception and collaboration, creating a space in which different visual languages meet and complement one another. Through the simple gesture of rotation, the work invites audiences to participate actively and reflect on the ways in which we shape our own views of the spaces that surround us.
