Cement Eclipses

Cement Eclipses is a nomadic project, composed of a series of urban interventions dedicated to small figurative sculptures reflecting on contemporary society. The central character is a stereotypical middle-aged, bald, uniformed man in a grey suit. The leading role is played by the choice of locations, which become semantic spaces in which we observe the flow of time, the passing decadence and which speak about their own imperfection. The artist uses humour and irony in a moderate, ambiguous way, always on the brink of drama, up until the point when one doesn’t know whether to laugh or to cry.
