Conflict Between Form and Function vol. 2

Conflict Between Form and Function Vol. 2 aims to create an informal space for outdoor rest and hanging out, but also to motivate observers and users to reconsider form, balance and the role of design in public space. The odd, glitchy forms of the chairs and the bench create a sense of play and stimulate exploration; the wooden materials introduce warmth and naturally fit into Zagreb’s Old Town ambience. This is not only a functional piece of street furniture, this is an art intervention activating space and providing a new urban daily life experience.
