Round

The Round enters the city park where its organic and biomorphic sculptures inhabit selected trees. The shapes are inspired by microscopic organisms whose dimensions are now transformed into visible and tangible forms in direct coexistence with the trees. The pink clusters are made of recycled deadstock stretchy lycra material that allows for the soft presence of newly created individuals. The work speculatively contemplates urban ecosystems in which the relationships between the natural and synthetic environment are redefined and the possibility of temporary cohabitation in a common canopy habitat is opened.
